What happens if the court date that is assigned for your speeding ticket is on a holiday?

Do you still have to pay the ticket or does it get thrown out automatically?

Answer 1 :
Pay it before the court date or Johnny Law will find new ways to get more money from you, like Failure-To-Appear/etc., which will make you legally liable for even more money.

The only thing they care about is money ... pay Johnny Law off early and often and this will minimize your headaches and total cost.

-There are no other options.-

Answer 2 :
It does NOT get thrown out. The court date MAY be rescheduled. You need to contact the court BEFORE the date listed. It may not be a holiday for the court. I read somewhere that only 3 days a year are not considered a holiday by SOMEONE. Any given court will recognize about a dozen.

Answer 3 :
No, you still have to pay it. If you want to have your ticket removed from your record most states will allow you to take a traffic school.
